About the Course
The course begins with an introduction to Shakta Yoga, making it easy to settle into the classes.
The principles behind the practices and their benefits are also explained.
Shakta Flow is the core practice of Shakta Yoga. It is a gentle, meditative practice designed to bring your
whole system into a state of harmony. After class, you’ll rise from the mat feeling whole.
Viyayama is a dynamic standing series that improves posture, opens up the chest and lengthens the spine.
It’s also an excellent warm-up that builds balance and muscle strength.
Surya Namaskara activates the whole body and also offers a physical challenge. Sun Salutation is often
known as a warm-up practice in modern yoga - but it has a much richer history in the traditional practice.
